So Happy

As Junior says Hip Hip Hooray!!!! The part for the mini-van is in and Kevin will be coming home tonight.
 He has been gone since Thursday morning to Guard at Camp Ripley and they were released yesterday
 morning but he couldn't leave because the mini-van has been at the shop since Friday. I will be sooo Happy
 to see my Hubby this Mommy needs a break from a Loveable little Clingy Boy and Stubborn Preteen :)

• I love watching Junior during his Occupational an Physical Therapy and how he works hard and doesn't give up
• I love when Ashllie reads to Junior
• I love that Ashllie is reading more she has a AR goal at school of 100 AR points to get a Medal and she is 9 points away. Which is wonderful because with ADHD it's hard to stay focused. and with her reading disability she has always felt sad that other's her age read better then her but our daughter isn't letting that bother her anymore
• I love watching Junior walk he has officially been walking for 11 months and is getting better by the day
• I love being their mom 
• That God chose Kevin and I too be their parents 
• I love hearing Junior repeat words
• I love when Ashllie's face lights up when she talks about her American Girl dolls
• I love hearing Junior sing or at least try to when his favorite shows come on
• I love that both my children love the water even though mommy is scared of any body of water except the shower or tub
• Watching them children play together

Van

Hubby is at Drill and Van isn't working.

I pray the part comes in on Monday. If not who knows when hubby will be home. I wish the van would have messed up when he was home not 2 1/2 hours away. At least they are lending him a curiosity car till our van is fixed.

I miss my hubby even though it's only been since Thursday morning that has been gone. Normally it wouldn't even phase me, since I'm use to him being gone with the military but this time around Junior has been extra clingy at least I have Ashllie here as well to help with clingy boy.

Report Card

Ashllie got her report card today and she passed all her classes. Also she has 91 AR points and only needs 9 more to receive the Bronze reading medal at the end of the year award ceremonies.

Tired

Today's been a long day.

Friendship

I love that even though my best friend and I don't chat much or see each other but once a year.

Whenever we get a chance to talk it's like we've been talking everyday.  It was so nice to catch up today. Hopefully soon we can do Skype :)

Sick

I hate being sick hopefully it's just a cold that I have. Junior is also not feeling well. If in the morning we both aren't doing better I'll be calling the doctor for a appointment.

Water is Back!

Hallelujah! Praise the Lord! The water is finally back on in our house. After 4 days of no hot water in the shower and 1 day and 10 hours of no water what so ever. It makes you really appreciate it flowing once more into your home. I'm so Happy right now I could jump for JOY :)

No water in house

Gotta Love frozen pipes and no water. First we had no hot water in the shower for a few days and this morning we woke up to no water period in the house. Oh well at least we have bottle water and milk and juice to drink .
Hopefully the water will be working come sometime tomorrow.

Left the house

Finally got out of the house today after 2 1/2 days. We went over and visited the in laws and watched Eat,Pray,Love.

Oprah

I've loved watching Oprah on location in Australia these last 3 days.

It was so interesting to see all the wonderful sites and learn about the people and culture.

New shoes

I received my new Sketchers today. That I ordered off Finishline  last week when they had a big sale going on, Much to my dismay the darn things were too small. So off they went back to Finishline and luckily I was able to reorder the correct size. Can't for them too show up because they looked really cute.

Doctor's Appointment

Went to the Doctor and I've lost 5 pounds in the last month.

Life

Today just a normal Sunday. Did laundry,watched football,ate,watched TV shows and hung out at home with the family.

Dentist Appointment

I've been having a horrible toothache for the last 3 weeks and went to the Dentist today. It was so worth the 2 hour drive to and 2 hour drive home to get that painful tooth extracted out of my mouth. Currently in pain but hope to start feeling better soon.

Doctor's Appointment

Ashllie went to the ENT today and was given a referral to the ENT Surgeon at the University of Minnesota.

Hopefully sometime this year she will have her ear surgery to redo her ear drum since she no longer has on.

Also she was seen in Urgent Care because her right eye has been burning and slightly red. Turns out she has pink eye good thing is the doctor said it was caused from her ear infection she had ,had and it's not the contagious kind. Dr prescribed some eye drops.

Junior had his first eye appointment today with a Ophthalmologist. 


They checked his eyes and also dilated them to make sure the nerves were good. Doctor stated that Junior has great eye sight and doesn't need any glasses.

Toothache

Yeah finally get to see a Dentist on Saturday! The only bad thing is the Dentist is 2 hours away and it's suppose to be windy so hopefully the drive won't be so bad.

I've been in so much pain the last few weeks that I pray the Dentist will be able to fix my tooth or just yank it out.

School

Junior had a great day at school. He came home with 2 papers he worked on.  I'm so proud of my little boy. He has been doing really well in school and getting a long with the other children.

Grandpa's Birthday

Today was Great Grandpa Hauge's birthday. Went to the Nursing home and spent time with family.

We celebrated with cake and ice cream.

Movie Saturday

Today has been a good day.

 It started off with Kevin and Ashllie going to a Juice Plus Presentation . There was a guest speaker Rod Jensen
who spoke about  health and fitness. They also ate breakfast there, they served banana or blueberry
pancakes and orange juice or water. Ashllie told me that she really enjoyed the blueberry ones. Kevin said the presentation was good.

This afternoon we watched the Ramona and Beezus movie.
It was a good one and had me crying at times. Beezus really reminded me a lot of Ashllie and how other kids think she is different because of the way she does things.

After the movie Ashllie went to grandma and grandpa's house to spend the night.

Then Kevin and I watched Salt with Angelina Jolie it was alright. I just didn't like the ending .Glad we rented it and didn't see it at the theater.

All in all a good Saturday spent at home with the family.

Three Year Appointment

Today was Junior's three year wellness checkup.

He weighs 40 lbs and 39 inches tall. He received 2 immunization shots today. One for Polio and the other was the Prevnar 13. He also had some blood work done as well.

Doctor asked a few questions about how Junior had been and stated that he wants Junior to see a Nutritionist and a Ophthalmologist.

Juniors ears were clear and throat all healed up so no more strep throat.

He was happy Junior was going to Preschool and still receiving his developmental services.

All in all it was a good appointment.

Going to Grandma's

Junior went to school today and he loved his second time as much as his first one. I really think by him going to school and being around other children his age it is really going to help with his social skills.

I'm so looking forward to all the growing he is going be doing this year. With his services at school and his additional private services as well as what we teach him at home. 

For example today at 4:00 pm he brought his winter coat and shoes to daddy and said " I go Grandma" so we called my mother in law to see if she would be home. So we could come over and visit for a few hours. She said she would and went over and when we pulled into the driveway Junior started clapping and saying I at Grandma's it was so cute. I love when he talks because he has Communication Disorder and doesn't talk much he only has a vocabulary of about 75 words but he doesn't use them all the time.

Patience

My world for this year is Patience.

Patience means a lot in my life. 

I need Patience to be a better mom and wife. To finish what I start. To learn and grow as a woman.

So for me I will look deep inside myself everyday and learn to have Patience. Yes it will be hard but life is a journey and everyone needs a little Patience. So Gods willing next year when I reflect back on my 39 year of life I will see that I did learn Patience.

Junior's 1st Day of Preschool

Today's Junior's 1st day of preschool! He went w/his para in the van to school. We followed so we could see the class room & take a few pictures. Well my separation anxiety child aka mama's boy. Forgot all about mommy when he saw toys & the teacher's markers :( I'm really happy he did well but I'm feeling sad because he didn't even want to give me a goodbye hug.


Junior had a great first day, he even sat down twice for 20 minutes each time which is a huge accomplishment for our little boy.

Eye Doctor

Went to the eye doctor today was told that I still have 20/20 eye sight.

Also my eyes are healthy and good for being a Diabetic.

Doctor said the cloudiness I have been having is most likely from the lights in our home and it wasn't something to be alarmed about.

Reading 2011

I love reading on my iPad & Kindle! I love modern technology :) If it wasn't for digital reading, it would be really hard for me to read. I have always loved to read but with Carpal Tunnel, Fibo ,nerve damage it's been hard to hold a book and turn the pages. Thank You inventor of the Ebook you gave me my favorite Passion Back!
