Before and After Garage
We decided it was finally time to reside the garage. To make it look better :) The roof was already replaced October 2008. So it was time to finish the rest. My FIL and DH's Uncle did most of the work but DH and his mom helped as well.

Food Allergies
Where do I start Jr has several food allergies. At 4 weeks old he was placed on Similac Alimentum Formula and will continue on it till he is at least 3 years old. The food allergies he has been diagnosed with are Beef,Wheat,Oats,Bananas and Diary. He is on a Gluten Free Veggie and Fruit Diet with his formula.
Then tonight as he was eating some Peas he broke out in hives from his head to his toes. I guess like they say an allergy can start at anytime because he has eaten Peas several times before so now we can add Peas to the list.
I will be posting pictures so y'all can see my poor little guys reaction.

Also today I received my test results from my Food Allergy testing and just like I have been suspecting I have a few Food Allergies as well. They are SoyBeans,Beef and Peanuts. I have been wondering about Peanuts for over 20 years because whenever I eat anything with Peanuts my throat starts to clog and have asked several Allergists in the past to test me and they never wanted to test me for Food Allergies. So at the age of 37 I have to change the way I eat again. It going to be a challenge for sure.
Ya know being a Diabetic and dealing with Jr's Allergies and knowing how to read labels.I shouldn't be worried but I am because now I have to be more strict even more about what I buy.
Of the 3 allergies I'm most worried at Peanuts especially since now I have to carry an Epi-pen because I never know how bad a reaction is going to be.

DH bought me a Olympus E-450 for Mother's Day. An I finally got a chance to use it.
We decided to drive the 3 hours to the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory in St. Paul on Saturday. It as such a fun time and the pictures turned out great. So I would like to share them with y'all.

51st Grammy Awards Trip To California
I figure I'd better write about this since its so fresh in the memory bank.
Quick Summary How This Even Happened. My Soldier Aka Hubby back in November entered a contest to attend the Grammy Awards never thinking anything of it. Well while he was home in January for R&R from Iraq he gets a FedEx package stating he has won a trip for 2 but he needs to do a few things before they actually give it too him. So he does what he is supposed to and sends the paperwork back. Then calls the Army to ask for an extension but he was unable to receive one. So the Army lets Best Buy know and they allow me and a guest to still go and receive the package as there Special Guest no longer as a winner.
I received Round Trip Air for 2,Transportation to and from the Airport.3 days and 2 nights in Hollywood California and Tickets for 2 to The 51st Grammy Award Show.
So Saturday morning we drove 3 hours to the Mpls/St Paul Int'l Airport and Boarded the Plane out to California a place I had never been too before.
When we arrived at 1:35 PST their was a Driver named Yvonne with a Name Sign waiting for Wayne and I. We drove in a Lincoln Executive car,we took the long way to the hotel and she showed us different street names like Sunset Blvd and just talked about the area.
Then we finally arrived at our Hotel The Renaissance Hollywood Hotel & Spa around 4:00pm and checked in stayed in Room 810. We changed into cooler clothes and after resting for a few went to look for a bite to eat.We looked around the mall next door and bought our food,took a few pictures and bought Ashllie the outfit I promised from Build A Bear and then went back to the hotel and we watched TV and rested.
On Sunday we woke up showered and went to eat Breakfast ate at The Twist Restaurant & Bar inside the Hotel. Then off to explore we went. We took pictures of the Kodak and Chinese Theater,The Walk of Fame Stars,HOLLYWOOD Sign and a few more places.
Then back to the room ,took another shower got dressed then off to the Lobby to wait for our Ride to The 51st Grammy Awards. In the Lobby we met Stephanie whom I had chatted allot with our the phone. Met the Winners of the Contest. They were from Boulder,Colorado,Massachusetts,DC,Shreveport Louisiana and San Antonio Texas.
We got our pictures taken then off to The Staple Center we went. Arrived got our tickets given to us then went inside and were given a Grammy's program. Then off to our Sky view Suite. Once in there,there was tons of wonderful food and a great view to the stage. It was an Awesome Experience. Saw tons of great performers.The music was the Best. An Snopp-Dogg his wife Shante and their bodyguards sat below our suite box for about 30 minutes until they relocated them.When the show was all over we went to the hotel.
Monday we ate breakfast in the hotel room from a diner across the street. Packed the bags and got ready to go. Went downstairs checked out around 1:15 waited in the Lobby for our driver. Then our driver arrived his name was Stephen he took us to the LAX.Were we waited for our plane. Boarded and landed in good ole Minnesota around 9:35pm. Later we picked up our luggage and drove to Perkins for a late supper. Finally the Road Trip home we finally got here close to 2:00 a.m.
So that was my Grammy Awards trip but I'm so happy to be home. I really missed my children when I was gone.But they were well taken care by my in laws. The best grandparents out there.

A Year Ago Today
Our 2nd Miracle was born at 08:38 am on December 27th 2007.
Happy Birthday Kevin David Jr.
I can't believe our little guy is One already. We love him so much I just wish DH was here to spend this day with us.
Well we spent a good part of this morning at the Urgent Care. Poor little guy has been running a fever since Christmas it had gone away last night but came back at around midnight. What we found out is he has a Right Ear Infection and a Virus. He also weighs 24 lbs and 9 ounces. I feel so bad for him getting his 1st Ear Infection on his 1st Birthday.
We had a small family day with Myself,DD and the Birthday Boy. DH even got to call from Iraq and webcam with us . He saw Jr open his presents and pick at his smash cake. He is allergic to diary that's why he just had a small cake. He didn't eat any of the cake but did taste the frosting a little.

Woke Up To This

Santa Claus Comes To Town
Santa Claus came to our small town today. He was at the Catholic Church at 6:15pm for pictures and meeting the kids.
Ashllie didn't get to go because she came down with the flu today. Poor thing since had so been looking forward to seeing Santa and Mrs.Claus. I told her me and the baby wouldn't go because it wasn't not fair to her even though we would just be across the street.
Well when Santa was arriving Ashllie started saying she wanted picturs of the SemiTruck that Santa arrived on and a goody bag. So since she asking so nicely I got the baby ready and off we went.
I took a few pictures to share hope y'all enjoy them. Also got a picture of Kevin Jr. sitting on Santas lap for the 1st time ever and guess what he didn't ever cry he was a happy little guy just starting at Santa.
