I have started eating more fruits,veggies and chicken and have cut down on red meat since I recently found out I'm allergic to it. I have also started walking more.

I read all labels because of mine and Junior's Food Allergies and have been working really hard to keep all those bad things out of our diets. It easy keeping it away from Junior because he is young but for me it has been hard to stop eating food I have been eating for over 30 years.

It's been a rough journey and it's taken me a year to lose the 50 pounds and I still have over 50 pounds to go but I will do it because I want to see my children grow up.

So far 44 lbs down but still need alot to go I'm 34 lbs away from my first goal. Then I will have another 55 lbs to go. Yeppers I was and still am a big girl but getting smaller slowly but surely. By this time next year I plan to be at my goal weight.

Neglected Blog

I have really let my blog go down the tubes rather quick since hubby has come back home from deployment. I really need to get into it again because it's a great way to document our lifes. So the kids have something to look back at when they get older.

I'm still taking pictures of our children I just need to get them uploaded to Photobucket or my Smugmug account so that I can load them on this site for y'all to see.

Hopefully sometime today I will have some more to say or after this weekend when Town & Country Days are done I will have some new pictures and some info about the day.

Went to Urgent Care today . Jr has a Viral Infection and has had a fever for over 24 hr's . Praying our little guy starts feeling better soon. They said this is all from the Surgery he had on Wednesday.

YaY!! JR is starting to finally go back to his normal self. It's been a week since his surgery and he is finally on the mead. I'm so happy to have my happy go lucky boy back :-)

My baby boy turns 18 months on Saturday. On Sunday we get to try eggs for the 1st time. I already bought an Egg Separator and SIL is giving us a fresh egg from her chickens. Please pray that he isn't allergic to them . We are trying yolk first and then another day egg whites.

Before and After Garage

We decided it was finally time to reside the garage. To make it look better :) The roof was already replaced October 2008. So it was time to finish the rest. My FIL and DH's Uncle did most of the work but DH and his mom helped as well.

Have a mentioned I hate Cheese Nips and Hives. Went to the ER for a bad case of Hives turns out Cheese Nips has Soy Oil. Yet the box says contains: Wheat and Milk for Allergens. Serves me right for not reading the label better :-(.....

Today was the last day of school till September 8th. Then Ashllie will be in 5th grade and a member of the band playing the Clarinet. She also made the 3.0 Club for the last 9 weeks. I'm so proud of her she achieved 3.0 Club 3 out of 4 times this year.

Kevin Jr will be having surgery 6-3-09 to have PE Tubes placed in both ears due to he has a lot of middle ear fluid and will also have his Adenoids removed due his are swollen and have specks on them. I'm really nerves about having my 17 month old put to sleep but I know he needs this done. When Ashllie had her 1st surgery she was almost 3 and I was a wreck so I hope I do good tomorrow.

Food Allergies

Where do I start Jr has several food allergies. At 4 weeks old he was placed on Similac Alimentum Formula and will continue on it till he is at least 3 years old. The food allergies he has been diagnosed with are Beef,Wheat,Oats,Bananas and Diary. He is on a Gluten Free Veggie and Fruit Diet with his formula.

Then tonight as he was eating some Peas he broke out in hives from his head to his toes. I guess like they say an allergy can start at anytime because he has eaten Peas several times before so now we can add Peas to the list.

I will be posting pictures so y'all can see my poor little guys reaction.

Also today I received my test results from my Food Allergy testing and just like I have been suspecting I have a few Food Allergies as well. They are SoyBeans,Beef and Peanuts. I have been wondering about Peanuts for over 20 years because whenever I eat anything with Peanuts my throat starts to clog and have asked several Allergists in the past to test me and they never wanted to test me for Food Allergies. So at the age of 37 I have to change the way I eat again. It going to be a challenge for sure.

Ya know being a Diabetic and dealing with Jr's Allergies and knowing how to read labels.I shouldn't be worried but I am because now I have to be more strict even more about what I buy.

Of the 3 allergies I'm most worried at Peanuts especially since now I have to carry an Epi-pen because I never know how bad a reaction is going to be.
