Sorry I'm last posting this
It's finally here Today is the day we get to see Our Soldier YaY. We are leaving the house around 9 AM since it's a 3 hour drive to the airport. It's going to be me,the kids and my in laws. We figured we would leave early even thou he isn't suppose to be here until after 4 PM but we want to be in the area in case they bump him to an earlier flight.
My Mil is like me beyond excited to see her son. I can't wait to see the look on Ashllies face when she sees her daddy. She still has no clue that she is seeing him today. That and I hope Kevin Jr don't freak out with daddy since he was 6 months old when daddy left.
This has been the longest I have ever been away from my hubby since we met 16 years ago the longest before was only 4 months. I'm just sooo happy we get to see and spend the next 15 days with him. Then he has to go back to the sand box for another 6 months to a year not sure which.
As of right now he isn't on American soil but he will be in a few hours and later today he will be in Minnesota freezing his azz off where he belongs.

We got a call from DH that he was able to get an earlier flight. So we left and got there around noon.DD kept asking why we were there and grandma told her she was there to pick up a good friend. Poor thing was like so why am I here. Closer to when he was suppose to depart the plane DD wanted to leave but we told her to kept looking through the door.
Finally his plane landed at 1:15 PM and all these people kept coming through the doors. When finally DD spotted him,her eyes light up and she ran over to DH screaming. She gave him biggest hug and kiss I have ever seen her give. Kevin Jr took to DH he gave his daddy a hug then laid his head on his shoulder and he didn't want to let go it was so sweet.
It was so great to see my Soldier. I felt like I never wanted the moment to end. A rush of emotions poured out like no tomorrow. I'm so thankful he is safe and home with us for 15 days.
May the 4th be with you!
